Tiger Trophy at Rutland Sailing Club 6th and 7th February The Tiger Trophy is an annual national
sailing event run by Rutland Sailing Club for the charity The John Merricks Sailing Trust.

Signs of Spring at Rutland Water Nature Reserve Egleton, 16th April During April the reserve is
alive with the signs of spring. On this two hour guided walk we will be on the look out for newly
arrived summer migrants, spring flowers and possibly the first butterflies of the year. We'll then
have the opportunity to enjoy great views of the Ospreys on their nest. Cost £5 per person. Booking

East Midlands CICLE classic 25th April The East Midland CICLE Classic is Britain's most unique,
challenging and spectacular elite single day cycle road race.
Rutland Walking Week 1st May to 9th May Rutland walking week. A must if you appreciate walks with
stunning views.
Burghley Craft Fair 1st to 3rd May. Will host over 150 Craftsmen and Demonstrators, such as Artists,
Designers, Jewellery Makers, Wood Turners, Glass Blowers, Basket Makers and much much more, as well

Dambuster Triathlon 19th June Established in 2002 the Dambuster is a tough event consisting of
1.5km swim, 42km bike and 10km run.

premier equestrian events on the international sporting calendar.
