Hello and welcome to Rutland Caravan and Camping website. We are a family run caravan and camping park
(opened May 2002) situated in the heart of the county of Rutland. Our Touring Park is adjacent to the counties of
Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, and Northamptonshire so there is a very diverse range of
activities within short travelling distance. From stately homes and historic buildings, to theme parks, we
have them all.
The Rutland park location offers you the opportunity to explore England's smallest county, renowned for
its picturesque villages and towns. Rutland Water is nearby with its sailing, cycling, fishing, nature
reserve and many other activities.
The park is adjacent to the village of Greetham, through which the Viking Way runs along with other
footpath networks. There is a gravel path from the park to the village (about five minutes level walk).
which is served by a regular bus to Oakham (a lovely town with a good range of generally smaller
shops), and also a service to Melton Mowbray (a larger town with more shops). From both towns there are bus
services to take you further afield.
Our aim is to provide you with a relaxing atmosphere where you can escape the hustle and bustle of today's
World, and take in the beautiful surroundings. The park is divided roughly in two. To the left of the
entrance we generally aim to place adults, whilst to the right is the family area. The park is in a rural
setting with views of the village. Rallies are most welcome.
We have large hard standings, (the site is built on limestone and is exceptionally free draining should you
prefer a grass pitch), electronic security barrier, two heated toilet/shower blocks, electric hook-ups, baby
changing facility, dishwashing facilities, Wi-Fi access and a lovely children's play area, with a separate
play area for children 5 years and under.
We are ideally placed for Greetham Valley Golf Club. It has 2 x 18 hole courses, 9 hole par 3 course,
driving range, club house and excellent Pro Shop.
If you like the sound of our tranquil park then we look forward to meeting you soon. You can be assured of a
warm welcome.

We would like to wish all our past and present visitors a Very Happy Christmas and Good Health and Happiness for 2012.
